USB overpowers firewire
The time when firewire was required for hi-speed transfers. USB 1.0 simply was way too slow to manage a direct camera-to-computer connection, but in the future this is bound to change – why maintain two bus systems, if the speed difference almost doesn’t matter any more? What do you think?
